Quick Overview

Event Currency

• Challenger Points: Earn points to raise your Challenger Tier, upgrade buffs, and claim exclusive rewards.
• Challenger Coins and Advanced Challenger Coins: Obtainable by completing missions and can be exchanged in the Challenger Shop for growth and progression items.

Three Types of Challenger World Missions:

• Hunting Missions: Defeat enemies near your level to earn Challenger Points and Coins.
• Level Missions: Reach specific level milestones and get additional rewards!
• Boss Missions: Defeat bosses to earn Points, Challenger Coins, and Advanced Challenger Coins.

How to Participate

• From the world selection screen, you can choose to play in either Challenger-Heroic or Challenger-Interactive world.

• Challenger Worlds follow the same perks, restrictions, prices, and systems as their respective world counterparts.

• Once a Challenger World is chosen, all characters created there can only be played in that same world.

• Example: If your first character was created in Challenger-Heroic, you cannot create or access Challenger-Interactive, even if all existing characters are deleted.

• You can create up to 5 characters in Challenger World.

• Up to 3 Tera Burning characters can be created to level from Lv. 10 - 200, gaining 2 extra levels per level-up!

• After creating a character, select ‘Challenger World’ from the Event List UI and click ‘Participate’ to start the Challenger World event.

• Complete Challenger World Missions to earn rewards and strengthen your buffs.

• The following features are unavailable in Challenger World.

Challenger World Missions

• Hunting Mission

• Defeat 1,000 enemies near your level (20 levels above and 20 levels below), then click the ‘[Mission Complete]’ button within the Challenger World UI to complete a Hunting Mission and receive 100 Challenger Points and 300 Challenger Coins.

• The Hunting Mission can be done once a day and up to 5 times a week per account.

• Missed a daily hunting mission? Use 3,000 Maple Points to complete a missed daily hunting mission.

• The number of available Hunting Mission Passes updates every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.

• Level Missions

• Reach specific level milestones with your Challenger character to earn Challenger Points and Challenger Coins.

• Missions complete automatically when conditions are met in the Challenger World UI.

• Boss Missions

• Defeat bosses to obtain Challenger Points, Challenger Coins, and Advanced Challenger Coins. Open the Challenger World UI to automatically complete the Boss Mission.

• Defeating a boss in Practice Mode will count toward the mission.

• Defeats will only count when solo or in a solo party.

• Defeating a higher difficulty version of a boss will count as completing the mission for the highest listed difficulty for that boss.

• Example: If the mission lists defeating Lotus in either Normal or Hard difficulty, defeating Extreme Lotus will count as completing the Hard difficulty mission.

Challenger Tier, Rewards, Buffs

• There are 8 Tiers in Challenger World:

• Bronze > Silver > Gold > Platinum, Emerald > Diamond > Master > Challenger

• Earn Challenger Points through missions to increase your Tier, unlock rewards, and strengthen your buff.

• Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum Tier Rewards: Claimable only in Challenger World.

• Emerald, Diamond, Master, Challenger Tier Rewards: Claimable in either Challenger World or your main world via the Event List.

• Rewards can be claimed until April 21, 2026 11:59 PM UTC.

• Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).
• Available only for characters in Challenger World.

How to Participate

• Select the ‘[Challenger] Challenger Pass’ event from the Event List and click ‘Participate’ to start the ‘Challenger Pass’ event.
• The Challenger Pass has 20 levels and you can level up by obtaining 480 Challenger Points for each level.
• You can obtain Challenger Pass Points by completing weekly missions.

Weekly Missions

Pass Level Achievement Rewards

• You can obtain a maximum of 3,000 Challenger Pass Points per week.

• Challenger Pass Level, Challenger Pass Points and weekly mission progress are shared among all characters within the world.

• Note that Weekly Challenger Pass Point acquisition and weekly mission progress will reset every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.

• Symbol Daily Quest, Monster Park, Monster Park Extreme, and Epic Dungeon missions completed using an Express Pass will also count towards weekly mission progress.

• Missed a week? For 1,000 Maple Points, you’ll receive 100 Challenger Points and the total amount you can purchase depends on how many points were missed from the previous week.

Premium Pass Items

• A Premium Pass is also available for 19,800 Maple Points, providing additional rewards on top of the regular Challenger Pass.

  • Normal Enemy Damage +200%
  • Obtained EXP +20%

• Premium Pass items will be available depending on the current level of the Challenger Pass.

• The Premium Pass effect will be removed when you World Leap.

• All rewards can only be obtained once per world.

Requirements

• Lv. 200 and above characters (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).
• Available only for characters in Challenger World.

How to Participate

• After completing the quest ‘A Greater Power’ you can participate by selecting the ‘[Challenger] Arcane Seal’ event from the Event List and clicking on the ‘Participate’ button.

• The ‘Arcane Seal’ event can only be done by one character at a time.

• If you participate in the event with a different character after already starting the quest, all event progress on the original character will be reset.

• 3 Sealing Wands will be automatically obtained daily at 12:00 AM UTC regardless if you are logged in or not.

• Note: You can only have a maximum of 20 Sealing Wands at one time.

• If you have 18-19 Sealing Wands at 12:00 AM UTC, you will only receive the amount needed to reach 20 Sealing Wands.

• When using the Sealing Wands you can use 1 to 5 Sealing Wands at a time to break the barrier.

• Once broken, you will obtain an Arcane Core of a certain rarity based on a set probability.

• The type of barrier a player can break changes based on your Challenger World Tier.

• The probability of obtaining each Arcane Core will change with each stage.

Barrier Appearances

Arcane Core Appearance Rates

• Arcane Cores can be equipped and will provide stats depending on the core’s rarity and job.

• Once equipped you can use the Arcane Core Summon skill to summon the equipped core.

• If you equip a core with a higher rarity than one currently equipped, the equipped core will be extracted and you will receive Arcane Energy based on the rarity and enhancement level.

• Note that stats obtained from equipping an Arcane Core will not apply if you World Leap from Challenger World to another world.

• You are able to extract energy from unused Arcane Cores to obtain Arcane Energy.

Amount of Arcane Energy Obtained When Extracting

• You can use Arcane Energy to enhance your equipped Arcane Core.

• Enhancing the core will increase the stats received from it.

• An Arcane Core can be enhanced up to Stage 12.

• The success rate of enhancement is dependent on the rarity and stage of the core.

How to Participate

• Select the ‘Frontier Pass’ event from the Event List and click ‘Participate’ to start the ‘Frontier Pass’ event.

• You can only participate in the Frontier Pass event once per account.

• The character participating in the Frontier Pass CANNOT be changed.

• The Frontier Pass has a maximum of 30 levels and you can level up by obtaining 480 Pass Points for each level.

• You can obtain Frontier Pass Points by completing weekly missions.

Weekly Mission Rewards

• You can obtain a maximum of 2,000 Frontier Pass Points per week.

• Frontier Pass missions can only be completed by the character participating in the event and are not shared with other characters.

• If you have completed weekly boss clears, Monster Park, and Monster Park Extreme before participating in the Frontier Pass event, the progress WILL NOT be reflected in the Frontier Pass weekly missions.

• Weekly Frontier Pass Point acquisition and weekly mission progress will reset every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.

• You will be able to purchase Frontier Pass Points missed from the previous week.

• Please note that all rewards can only be obtained by the character participating in the event and can only be obtained once.

• The Luxe Sauna Coupon can be moved between your characters within the world but all other items are untradeable.

• Items other than the Sol Erda Fragments, which are permanent, can be used until April 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC.

• Luxe Sauna time charged before February 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC will expire after February 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC.

• Complete the following Weekly Missions to obtain Frontier Pass Points (x100):

Tera Blink

Tera Blink is back, and this time it’s here to stay!

Event Duration

• Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (After Maintenance) - Ongoing

Requirements

• Newly created characters Lv. 10 and above that have been registered as Hyper Burning MAX characters or new Hyper Burning MAX Zero characters.

How to Participate

• Tera Blink will now be available anytime a Burning effect is applied to a character (Hyper Burning MAX or Hyper Burning Beyond). Tera Blink will be unavailable when a Burning effect ends.

• Accept the ‘[Tera Blink] World Inside the Hat’ quest from Event List UI or talk to Spiegelmann located in Henesys or Nameless Town.

• After completing the ‘[Tera Blink] World Inside the Hat’ quest, speak to Spiegelmann to move to the map.

• You can stay up to 40 minutes at one time in the event map.

• You can freely enter and exit the event map by talking to NPC Spiegelmann.

• All skill and buff effects given through the mission are collected and removed when you exit the event map.

Tera Blink: World Inside the Hat

• There are 20 missions within the World Inside the Hat.
• In Heroic Worlds and Challenger-Heroic, Mission 13 “Equip Your Way to Victory!” will be completed automatically and you'll also receive the Completion EXP.
• Clearing each mission gives a large amount of EXP and some will reward items as well.
• Note: Characters such as Cadena, Ark, and Illium will not be able to earn EXP in the World Inside the Hat if they have not completed their job tutorial quests.

Tera Blink Rewards

• Completing Spiegelmann's Missions to receive the following:
  • Spiegelmann's Power Elixir (x1000): Untradable, Permanent.
  • Special Medal of Honor: Untradable, Permanent.
  • Dazzling Hat (Pet): Untradable, Permanent, 90-day magic duration.
  • Dazzling Hat's Aura (Pet Equipment): Untradable, Permanent.
• Complete Tera Blink to receive the following completion rewards:

Requirements

• Characters between Lv. 200 to 258
• Zero Characters are now eligible for Hyper Burning MAX (Must be Lv. 100 - 258 and have completed Story Quest Act 2).

How to Set Up Hyper Burning MAX Character

• Click ‘Set as Hyper Burning MAX’ to create your Hyper Burning MAX Character.

Hyper Burning MAX Character Perks

• 1+4 Level-up

• Hyper Burning MAX characters can gain 4 extra levels for each level up from Lv. 10 to 260.

• Levels from Lv. 1-10 will only increase by 1.

• If you create a Zero character as a Hyper Burning MAX character, you will receive the 1+4 level-up benefit from Lv. 100 to Lv. 260.

• Level-Up Support rewards are distributed to all Hyper Burning MAX characters

• You can get all of the following rewards by clicking the START button from the Hyper Burning MAX event UI.

• Reach the level achievements as a Hyper Burning MAX character and obtain rewards!

• You can get an even more enhanced level achievement reward in Challenger World.

• When an existing character is set as Hyper Burning MAX, you cannot claim the level rewards for levels you already reached.

• For example, when a Lv. 235 character is set as Hyper Burning MAX, you cannot claim the level rewards for Levels 200 - 235.

Level Achievement Support Rewards

Note

• Level-up rewards can only be claimed once per account. If you delete and recreate the character after claiming the rewards, you will not be able to claim them again.
• Character creation rewards can be claimed again even if you delete and recreate your Hyper Burning MAX character.
• Challenger World rewards and Interactive World rewards for the same level-up condition cannot be claimed at the same time.
• Arcane Symbol rewards for each region can be claimed after completing the Arcane Symbol acquisition quest for that region.
• The Sacred Symbol: Cernium Lv. 5 item can be claimed after completing the 'A Divine Power' quest.
• When using the Symbol Selector Coupon, you can only obtain Symbols for regions where you have completed the Arcane River/Grandis story quests.
• Existing characters who already have an Eternal Flame Ring cannot obtain a duplicate Eternal Flame Ring from the Eternal Flame Ring Coupon.
• Zero characters cannot obtain the Frozen Weapon Box, Frozen Secondary Weapon Box, or 15-Star Fafnir Weapon Box (Time-Restricted). As they cannot equip AbsoLab Weapons, they can only claim the Dominator Pendant from the selection rewards upon reaching Lv. 220.
• If you have moved a Symbol using an Arcane or Sacred Catalyst, you must first stabilize the unstable Symbol before claiming the Lv. 7/10 Arcane Symbol or Lv. 5 Sacred Symbol level-up rewards to ensure they are properly enhanced.
• The items you get through Burning Boss Accessory Box are permanent and untradable.
• The Tenebris Expedition Ring and the Awake Ring will be given together with their respective Exclusive Enhancement Scrolls. The given Enhancement Scrolls' duration is 7-days and are untradable.
• Equipment obtained by using the AbsoLab Weapon/Dominator Pendant Selection Box are permanent and untradable.
• The items you get when using the Miracle Circulator x10 Coupon have 30-days duration and are untradable.
• The items you get when using the Hyper Burning Outfit Coupon are permanent and untradable, 30-day stat duration.

Requirements

• Characters between Lv. 260 to 268 (Lv. 260 - 268 Zero characters and must have completed Story Quest Act 2).

How to Participate

• Designate a Beyond Burning character from the character selection screen or by selecting ‘Beyond Burning’ event within the Event List.

• Only 1 Beyond Burning character can be designated per account.

• Challenger World characters can be Beyond Burning.

• Once confirmed, your character will receive the Beyond Burning effect.

• The Beyond Burning effect cannot be removed.

• Beyond Burning characters gain 1 extra level for each level-up from Lv. 260 to 270.

Beyond Burning Perks and Rewards

• When your Beyond Burning character reaches level milestones, Level Achievement Rewards can be claimed from the Beyond Burning event UI.

• Rewards can be claimed once per account.

• When an existing character is set as Beyond Burning, you cannot claim rewards for levels you already reached.

• Example: When a Lv. 264 character is set as Beyond Burning, the level rewards for Lv. 261 - 264 cannot be claimed.

Requirements

• Lv. 200 and above characters (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).
• Completed the ‘A Greater Power’ quest.

How to Participate

• Select ‘Get Your Item Burning Box!’ within the Event List and click ‘Participate’ to claim your Item Burning Box.

• Use the Item Burning Box to start the Item Burning event and receive a Challenger Equipment Set.

• Item Burning Box: Tradable within world, expires April 21 at 11:59 PM UTC.

• The Item Burning event can only be completed once per account.

• Progress can be viewed by selecting Item Burning in the Event List.

• There are 6 stages of missions to complete, each unlocking perks that enhance your Challenger Equipment.

• After completing a mission, a gauge will unlock and can be accessed within the Item Burning UI. When the gauge is full, a Challenger Key can be obtained and used to apply the Ignitia Set Effect to an armor or weapon slots.

• The Ignitia Set can be toggled on/off within the Item Burning UI.

• The Ignitia Set Effect will be removed when the Item Burning event period ends

• The gauge will not accumulate during the first week of the Item Burning System.

Challenger Equipment

• Receive 8 types of Challenger Equipment corresponding to your job.

• Challenger Hat

• Challenger Top

• Challenger Bottom

• Challenger Gloves

• Challenger Shoes

• Challenger Cape

• Shoulder Accessory

• Challenger Weapon

• Zero characters will not receive a Challenger Weapon and will instead have the perks applied on the current equipped weapon. A button will display in the UI to apply the Lapis/Lazuli Challenger Set Effect when another equipment set effect is active.

• If the Lapis/Lazuli Challenger Set Effect is already applied, the button will be deactivated.

• When an equipment item levels up, all equipped Challenger Equipment items will be unequipped.

• Effects will be removed if the Fusion Anvil and Soul Enchanter are used on a piece of Challenger Equipment.

Item Burning Missions

Gauge, Challenger Key, Ignitia Set Effect

• A gauge will activate after completing a stage mission. Defeat the following bosses to obtain points and fill the gauge:

• Points can no longer be obtained when the gauge is full.

• When a gauge is full, a Challenger Key can be extracted.

• 2 Challenger Keys can be extracted from the gauges of Guardian Angel Slime and Lucid.

• Use a Challenger Key on any armor and weapon slot to apply an Ignitia Set Effect.

• The Ignitia Set Effect does not apply to Challenger or Eternal sets.

• Zero: Talk to the NPC to apply the Ignitia Set Effect to Lapis and Lazuli or restore the effect if a scroll was used.

• Ignitia Set and Sengoku Era set effects will not stack.
