KMST ver. 1.2.195 – New Anime Collab: One Punch Man!

This week’s test server patch featured a surprise anime collab, One Punch Man! Since it’s an event, I’ll cover it in the live server post but just like the Demon Slayer collab, you can play as Saitama and get various One Punch Man themed items and outfits. Other than that, this patch just includes some more skill changes and a few QoL updates.

In addition, during the Maple Now stream, they announced the 2025 winter showcase: Crown, on December 13! The first winter update patch will be on December 18, so I’m betting the first patch will be kind of small since there will only be 5 days in between for the test server afterwards.

Foggy Forest Training Centre

The Foggy Forest Training Centre entry conditions and entry limit have been removed.

When you enter the Foggy Forest Training Centre, all skill cooldowns (except for certain skills) will be reset, and charge-type skills/job gauges/Soul Weapon’s Souls will be fully charged.

  • The effects of cooldown reset and charged skills will be removed.
  • When you exit, the cooldowns will be restored to their pre-entry values, and charged charge-type skills/job gauges/Soul Weapon’s Souls will be reset.

When you enter the Foggy Forest Training Centre, all applied buff effects will be removed. However, the following buff effects will not be removed.

  • Consume/Cash item effects
  • On/Off skills
  • Summon skills that have no cooldown and are maintained when changing maps
  • Noblesse guild skills
  • Weapon Tempering/Accessory Enhancement
  • Symbol of Honour Chair buff effect
  • Champion’s Protection

A ‘Reset Cooldowns’ feature has been added to the Foggy Forest Training Center settings UI.

  • All skill cooldowns (except for certain skills) will be reset, and charge-type skills/job gauges/Soul Weapon’s Souls will be fully charged.

The following skills will not have their buff effects removed or their cooldowns reset when you enter the Foggy Forest Training Centre.

    • The satellite’s maximum number of attacks has been decreased from 40 to 25.
    • The damage has been increased from 1000% to 1580%.

    • Fixed an issue in Azmoth Canyon where if you installed Crystal Gate then entered an Azmoth Annihilation Battle or Azmoth’s Visitor stage, the cooldown would not be decreased.

    • This skill now passively increases magic attack by 55.
    • The bombardments will now activate during Crystal Gate’s duration.

    • Even if the enemy the sword storm was created on is not hit by the sword storm, when Roaring Sky hits the enemy, it will now activate additional strikes based on the number of remaining hits.

Wisp’s Wonderberry Usage Reorganization

  • Wisp’s Wonderberries can now be used directly in the Cash Shop. You can right-click a Wisp’s Wonderberry in your Cash storage or Cash inventory to use it.
  • An option has been added to allow you to open 5 Wisp’s Wonderberries at once.
  • A new animation for using Wisp’s Wonderberries has been added.

※ When you use Wisp’s Wonderberries from the Cash storage, items purchased first will be used first. When you use Wisp’s Wonderberries from the inventory, the items at the top left will be used first.

Beauty Coupon Sale Method Changes

  • Hair and Face Coupons will now be sold as unified Coupons.

The Face Accessory Emote Synthesis Coupon will be sold.

  • Sale Duration: Always
  • Price: 3900 NX, cannot use Mileage, can be traded 1 time if purchased with NX
  • The Face Accessory Emote Synthesis Coupon lets you combine a decorative face accessory with an emote face accessory to make the decorative face accessory do that emote by default.
  • The emote face accessory used will disappear after synthesis.

When changing a pet’s name with the Pet Name Tag item, you can now use a name of up to 7 Korean characters or 14 english characters.

Quests

Leben Mine quests’ dialogue and cutscenes have been changed and some quests have been added.

When you start the ‘[5th Job] 5th Job: With the Goddess’ Blessings’, you will now be teleported to the Archer Academy.

The competion requirements for each quest have been alleviated to just dialogue, and when you complete one, you will be teleported automatically to the next Goddess map’s entrance map.

Monsters

Alleviated an issue in boss content where the bind resistance time indicator remained even after it ended based on network conditions.

UI

The VIP Sauna Usage Time Charge UI now lets you input the number you want to recharge and press the Enter key to charge time.

A system message will now be displayed if you input a sequence key outside of boss content.

Certain custom backgrounds’ animation features will now be displayed in the Equipment UI.

When you enter the New Name Auction, separate notification messages will now be displayed in situations where you are trade-banned and when you are temporarily trade-banned due to a change in IP address.

The confirmation window’s design when attempting Star Force and Scroll enhancements in the Unified Enhancement UI has been changed.

When placing a Cube Chair in a Bag UI, it can now be placed in the same way as when placing it in the Inventory UI’s Set-Up tab.

The Buff Favourites UI’s display location will now be saved per resolution and per character.

Maple Auction

A feature has been added to confirm purchases when buying equipment that is priced excessively high compared to its assessed value, to prevent equipment purchase errors.

  • The value of an equip is determined with reference to the item’s Combat Power and transaction information over a certain period of time.
  • If there is insufficient information available to determine the value, the notification will not appear.
  • This feature is initially limited to level 150 armour (Highness, Eagle Eye, Trixter), Absolabs armour, Arcane Shade armour, Ethernal armour, Absolabs weapons, Arcane Shade weapons, Dawn Boss set, Lose Control Machine Mark, Magic Eyepatch, Commander Force Earrings, Source of Suffering, Dreamy Belt, Endless Terror, certain Boss Accessory set, and certain Special Skill Rings. The applicable equipment can change in the future.

Events

The Event List has been improved so you can check Events/Coin Shops/Cash events in separate tabs.

You can now use Ascent skills 3 times in Golden Tomato Farm.

Maple Home furniture rewards have been added to the VIP Sauna cumulative charge time rewards.

Content

You can now rewatch the Resistance jobs’ story in Maple Chronicle: Book of Beginnings.

Characters registered as Union Champions can no longer enter the Champion Raid if they are in jail.

  • Fixed an issue in the Unified Enhancement UI where if you selected Star Force or Soul Weapon, sometimes the scroll image would be displayed awkwardly.
  • Fixed an issue in the Unified Enhancement UI where if you used a Star Force Enhancement Scroll, the increased value display was sometimes displayed awkwardly.
  • Fixed an issue in Undersea Tower The Seed where if you cleared 50F, certain skill effects would be displayed in the cutscene.
  • Fixed an issue with the VIP Sauna UI where the weekly charge number did not properly reset after the week changed.
  • Fixed an issue where the Skill Sequence UI’s guide text was awkward.
  • Fixed an issue where if you did not learn Alchemy, Advanced Weapon Tempring and Advanced Accessory Enhancement skills could not be registered together with Elixirs in the Buff Sequence.
  • Fixed an issue in the Maple Auction and Cash Shop where certain events’ end pop-up UI did not appear.
  • Fixed an issue where if the client loading failed, an error message saying there was not enough memory was displayed incorrectly.
  • In the World Select Screen, if you press the Quick Login UI and enter the Enter key, the channel select UI for the selected world on the right will now be displayed.
  • Fixed an issue with the Angelic Buster and Khali character creation windows where certain particle effects in the background looked awkward.
  • Fixed an issue where if a Zero character changed to a beauty style with the Freestyle Coupon applied, an image that didn’t match the current Tag state would be displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where if you were changing individual presets to the same as the character’s current preset, if you tried to change characters then reopened the character preset UI, it would not open on the currently applied preset.
  • Fixed an issue where lie detectors could not be cancelled while the Union UI was open.
  • You can no longer enter certain special characters that were input incorrectly in the chat window.

Achievements

  • The ‘Admiral Martini’ map has been removed from the ‘[Area Exploration] Riena Strait Expedition’ achievement conditions.
  • Enhancing Spiegelmann’s Ordinary Necklace and Spiegelmann’s Brilliant Necklace will no longer affect the ‘[Spell Traces] Clean, Clear, Success!’ and ‘[Spell Traces] Make it Innocent’ achievement conditions.

XAudio2 Application

The XAudio2 sound system will be applied to MapleStory.
